We're a boutique dog grooming service in Melbourne's inner north. While we're only small, we believe that's a big part of our appeal – our resident Westie Gracie (pictured above) is proof good things really do come in small packages!  

We provide a relaxed and caring environment so your dog feels at ease before, during and after the grooming process. What matters to us is that all dogs we groom leave looking, smelling, and – most importantly – feeling amazing!

We understand the grooming process can be a challenge for some dogs. This is why Dogs of the North owner and head groomer Susie Rosetzky only grooms one dog at a time. She also allows generous appointment times so your dog can take a break for a bit of play time with Susie, if the need arises.

Our Salon

Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac off Westgarth St in Northcote, our modern and comfortable salon is easy to reach, and parking is a breeze – no need to worry about traffic when dropping off or picking up your pet.

To ensure the most pleasant and safe experience we use only premium shampoos and conditioners, formulated with certified organic plant extracts and essential oils. They are soap free, 100% biodegradable, tearless and suitable for the most sensitive skins.

Our salon is also climate controlled, to ensure everyone (whether on two legs or four) is comfortable no matter the temperature outside.

The grooming process can be a challenge for some dogs, so, with this in mind, we offer generous appointment times. This allows for some playtime at our safe, secure and homely premises. We provide a full nose-to-tail assessment during each visit and follow this up with expert advice on your dog's health and grooming needs. 

We offer a comprehensive range of services. These include full grooms, groom outs/de-sheds, bath & tidy ups and complimentary nail clipping between appointments.
